Trey quoted The Squirming Coil during Fly Famous Mockingbird. During Harpua, Trey and Mike sat on chairs at the front of the stage, the entire band discussed cosmology, and eventually decided that the universe was in the shape of a donut. Trey teased Harpua in 2001. This show featured the debut of The Wind Cries Mary.

The venue was draped in red lights for the "velvet" themed songs: Sunday Morning and Sweet Jane (both Velvet Underground covers) and Wading in the Velvet Sea.
